Host, bruja y tech guy, Vivian is a Chicana, still living and working in their hometown of L.A. They’ve written for VICE and Buzzfeed, and as a stand-up she’s opened for Maria Bamford at UCB, as well as Nick Thune.

Most recently she’s returned to VO with her short Notes On Nudes premiering in NYC summer 2025. She recently starred in Mister and Mischief’s award winning 40 Watts From Nowhere (Executive Producer Jack Black) in Los Angeles which was recently at the 2025 Slamdance Film Fest in LA.

Vivian’s hosted TV for Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Nation (now on Amazon) and for the Sundance channel. She hosts and moderates live events across the USA doing Q&A’s for Tribeca, Slamdance, and the Spirit Awards, she’s even hosted a Bernie Sanders fundraiser! As a storyteller they’ve performed all over including opening for Josh Johnson (Comedy Central) in NYC, at the MOTH L.A. and Rouge Machine in Hollywood. Vivian is one of the many voices of Meet Cute, and used to do those funny Buzzfeed videos…

Vivian also runs a monthly variety comedy show called the Vivian show: starring other people but mostly Vivian featuring comedians like Chloe Fineman, Robby Hoffman and Atsuko Okatsuka.
